The design process for this steel candle hanger was much more rapid than many of our projects where we can sometimes chew on an idea for months before beginning fabrication. This time we sketched out an idea and within a week it was hanging on our wall.

The form consists of two drooping arms, an allusion to the traditional process of making dipped candles. The resolution of the central post is particularly pleasing to me and I hope to revisit the detail on future projects.
